About Us: Welcome to Huntmere Farm on the Web. We are Paul and DeAnne Hunt. We live on 93 acres in North Jackson, Ohio. Located in the Northeastern part of the State. Our farm has a nice mixture of tillable farm ground and woods with good grade timber. Our Akitas are a big part of our lives. We show in both Conformation and Obedience, but they are our pets first and foremost. Although not the breed for everyone, we feel they fit our lifestyle to a "T", and can't imagine our lives without an Akita in it. We got our first Belgian Draft Horse over 20 years ago. We find them to be very versatile. We use our horses to do everything from pulling a wagon or bobsled-to plowing in the fields-to trail riding and showing. I also have an Arabian that I bought as a baby in 1981. I also enjoy riding and driving him. We raise hay and grain on our farm along with a few Angus beef cows that we raise for freezer beef.
